Concrete sealing is the next step to maintain concrete floors after curing them. Once the concrete is cured, liquid sealer is applied to it, and this liquid ensures that the harmful substances do not penetrate inside the concrete.

Sealing concrete helps in many ways by protecting it against scaling, spalling and even de-icing salts. It this can be applied on the sidewalks, pavements, patios, driveways or floors and can save your concrete from getting damaged.

Spalling and Scaling Causes leading to Concrete Sealing
Spalling and scaling lead to deterioration of the concrete by breaking away the top most layers, which come as flakes. Thus the stone underneath gets aggregated and with passage of time gets even worsened increasing the repairing charges.

These also lead to concrete weakening and lead to breaking of the concrete and damaging it.

Window Genie Tinting & Cleaning are proud to call themselves experts in concrete sealing. Our professionals use both film forming sealers as well as penetrating sealers to provide our customers with complete concrete protection and 100% satisfaction.
Types of sealers used for Concrete Sealing

After curing the concrete, if any unwanted and harmful substance is left on the surface, film forming sealers used by our professionals, will act as a barrier and restrict the penetration if these substances inside. These types of sealers are used in order to cease water, mild chemicals and absorption of oils, grease and liquid spills.

Depending upon our customer?s requirement, and if the concrete sealing is required against chemical or abrasion, we employ urethanes and epoxies sealers.

The penetrating sealers are used to coat the very tiny pores of concrete, in order to cease infiltration by dust or any chemical substance, which may damage the concrete. What finish the concrete floor of your home has or what is its density our skilled workers employ penetrating sealers.

Penetrating sealers are made for use in places mostly where ultraviolet induced deterioration is possible. The silicon family acts as the perfect penetrating sealer and thus provides our customers with the best quality product and services, our team employ hydrophobic siloxane resin films which even repel water.

The nature of the damage the concrete suffers, or to what intensity, determines which silicon family member has to be employed. In order to treat blocks, bricks, stones and stucco, siloxanes are employed.

Similarly silanes are employed for longer lasting protection. Decks and pavements are normally treated with silanes. While siloxane may darken the surface a bit, silane ensures that the texture and color of the concrete remains the same.

Depending upon our customers? the budget, we employ different concrete sealing products and methods, to ensure that everything is according to your requests.
